Welcome

Maintenance Association of the Granite State's
Scholarship Program
MAGS is a non-profit, statewide organization of heavy duty fleet maintenance personnel whose primary purpose is to educate and inform its members on matters relative to their profession.  In keeping with this doctrine, MAGS has formulated a scholarship program.  The program is intended for high school students or recent high school graduates who wish to pursue a career in fleet maintenance.

The criteria that must be met for a recipient to receive this scholarship are:
  1. Applicant must be a student at or a recent graduate of a high school within New Hampshire or have a written recommendation from a current MAGS member.
  2. Applicant must have applied for, be accepted to or be currently enrolled in a post-secondary learning institution with a major associated with fleet maintenance.
  3. The learning institution need not be in New Hampshire.
  4. Applicant must include a high school transcript and a technical school/college transcript if already enrolled.
  5. Applicant need not be a member of MAGS.
The Board of Directors of MAGS will authorize an amount each year.  The amount of the scholarship may range up to $1,000.  The MAGS Scholarship Committee will review each of the applications and the MAGS Board of Directors will award the scholarship(s) as they deem appropriate.  The Scholarship committee may or may not require an interview with an applicant.  The Board of Directors decision is final.  MAGS reserves the right to rescind this scholarship program at any time, for any reason, and further reserves the right to change scholarship amounts and/or not to make any award at all.
